More Prototypes

Prototyping was an extensive process for us. We tested the materials, color, shape and location of our
performance.

Prototype Part 1:
Test Materials: Chalk Sticks, Flour, Corn Starch, Chalk Powder
Chalk sticks had the best coverage but was the most time consuming to apply, making it impossible to
fully apply the drawing before people start walking on it.
Both flour and corn starch were ruled out because of weather. Flour did not stick as well as other materials.

Prototype Part 2:
Color testing: White, Blue, Yellow
Blue had the best visibility and was the most pleasant to look at.

Prototype Part 3:
Drawing size and location: lights, entrances, tiles
The limitations in materials and time forced us to place our drawings stratigically. After calculating the
surface area we could cover, we chose to place the drawings at the major entrances to the square. Below is our final plan for drawing.
