An interactive project to memorialize people who have died on both sides of the Iraq / U.S. conflict by virtually overlaying Baghdad on New York.
Locations where individuals died in Baghdad are marked in their virtual location in New York with 2D barcode stickers. A downloadable application for cellphones allows users to take a picture of the barcode and retrieve a web link for more information about each person.
Visitors to the site can add to individual memorial webpages, browse through / search the database and print out new stickers to place in corresponding New York locations.
